  1. Arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment. If you are late, or arrive in a frenzied state it will take longer to relax during your massage.
  2. Finish eating 3 hours before your massage. Let your body digest your meal so you can get the most out of your massage.
  3. Go clean – take a good shower, scrub your feet and clean your face. Stinky bodies, dirty feet or faces with make up are a strict no!
  4. Communicate with your therapist – Do you like the music they are playing for you? Do you prefer having a light conversation with your therapist to help you relax better or break the tension? Are you allergic to any oils/lotions? Do you sense any discomfort during the massage? Communication is the key to a great massage. Make sure your therapist knows exactly what you want to enjoy your massage.
  5. Remember to breathe normally. Breathing helps facilitate relaxation. People often stop or limit their breathing when they feel anxious or a sensitive area is massaged.
  6. Drink plenty of water after your massage.
  7. Don’t get up as soon as the massage is done. Take some quite time for yourself to relax and enjoy the sensation. Some may feel a little light headed during the massage – do be careful and get yourself together before you get up from the massage table.
